Content Credentials (C2PA)
Content Credentials are a C2PA-based record showing who created an image or video, with which tool, and how it was edited.
What they do
News organisations, camera makers and AI companies use them to help tell real from generated content; some platforms label AI content from this data.
Limits
They can be stripped or lost in a screenshot, so they are not proof alone, but they increasingly help verify trusted sources.
