Turkish Civil Code Articles 24 and 25: protection of personality rights
Articles 24 and 25 let a person whose personality rights are unlawfully attacked ask a court to prevent, stop and declare the attack unlawful, and to claim compensation.
Article 24
A person whose personality rights are unlawfully attacked may seek court protection. Every attack is unlawful unless justified by consent, an overriding private or public interest, or legal authority.
Article 25: the actions
The claimant may ask the court to prevent a threatened attack, stop an ongoing one, or declare unlawful an attack whose effects continue, and may seek publication of the judgment and material and moral damages.
