How to report WhatsApp groups, channels and messages
WhatsApp messages are end-to-end encrypted, so the platform cannot see them; when you report, recent messages are forwarded to WhatsApp.
Steps
- Screenshot and export the chat.
- Report the contact, group or channel in the app.
- For fake accounts using your name, report and warn your contacts.
- Report threats or extortion to the police.
If your account was banned: WhatsApp account banned.
